St Saviour’s Church, Jersey has a churchyard with the highest number of Napoleonic graves in the British Isles. This talk by Rev. Peter Dyson on Wednesday June 30 2021 explored both the methodology of establishing the identity of the graves and the results of historical investigations into the often complex lives of those who are buried there. This also tells some of the story of how this became a community project with different people sharing the investigation of available records to build up the military (and subsequent civilian) biographies.
